Air Force has extended its season — at least momentarily. Air Force, which went 1-15 in the Mountain West this season and finished last in the standings, defeated Wyoming 59-40 at the Thomas & Mack Center Wednesday afternoon in the Mountain West Conference tournament play-in game.

It’s the second straight year Air Force has won the play-in game despite having a dismal MWC regular season and finishing dead last in the conference. The Falcons only won one MWC game this year, at home against Wyoming on Jan.
