I have been in the Sas hangar at OSL airport.

These are some great looking aircraft! Damn shame they’re no longer in business. The size & performance is about perfect perfect for up & coming small/medium business owners looking for a personal craft with this kind of capability to get their sales team, etc to their perspective interviews economically and fast!

I wish this endeavor a miraculous comeback someday soon!

    Great video as well. Thanks!

It was a nice ride while it lasted! I put blood, sweat and tears into this job, no doubt everyone involved in this hurts. I will remember this experience forever. It was a damn shame things were handled this way and it was doomed from the start. Another company will realize this goal someday, and eclipse founders will try to take credit for some part of that, but if you ask this grunt. They are all full of shit!

  8. trdmatrix says:

Why do you say that? What are you basing your comments on? Have you flown in one of these? Are you a pilot? mechanic?
I just want to know what kind of background you have to voice such an opinion.

Farewell. Another sad day in aviation history.

  11. ibdugefrsh says:

Never fly in any of their aircraft if you value your life.

Great post danb, this project was (and still will be hopefully)well ahead of any concept for affordable business jet transportation and one of the few that got off the ground. Right at the start of the worlds worst economic downturn. Lets hope this company evolves into a viable one in any take over/sale/purchase. Well done Vern in sticking to this great project until a proven product evolved.

How about building a little intercontinental 4 seater with some zip to it. New York to Frankfurt in 3 hours. That would be something!
This thing is too slow and still runs on jet fuel. Electric would be better!

  21. Z28VOOM says:

    hey! thats were i work!!!

  22. Rieuk says:

    Quiet you.

Terrific little aircraft by the look of it. First read about it on Cringely X’s page about a year ago.

  24. Greg Nielsen says:

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I was recruited from CA where I ran a manufacturing plant in the home lighting industry. I got the “we want to know what you know” speech but knew I was in trouble the first time I questioned inventory practices and was told “that’s not your job”. Too many egos! I spent 2-3 months with outside consultants who recommended changes to inventory and parts presentation practices. We paid them a 6 figure fee but by the time the VPs finished protecting their territory our $1M a day waste was reduced to only $1M a day waste. The real waste was incompetent management. I wish the new owners nothing but good luck and success for a great aircraft.
